The Chandlers Arms, Shearsby, Leicestershire, United Kingdom
About the Chandlers Arms Shearsby
The Chandlers is a traditional village pub overlooking the village green in the south Leicestershire village of Shearsby. The owners Martin and Stella believe that a village pub should be at the centre of the village and aim to create an atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone.
The Chandlers is a haven for real ale enthusiasts and sells a wide selection of real ales mainly from local microbreweries but also some from further afield. There is an annual beer festival in July which usually focuses on one area of the country. The Chandlers has won the prestigious Leicester CAMRA Country pub of the year for the last eight years.
They now provide a takeaway service using Rhino Online, which is a specialist click and collect service that enforces social distancing.
Customers select a “time slot” to collect their food, they select what hey want from their menu and simply place their order. This approach enforces social distancing, avoids queues and minimises human contact… protecting their customers, their staff and their reputation.
